Poverty

In the streets, the children play,

With tattered clothes and feet of clay.

Their laughter echoes, pure and bright,

Despite the hardships of their plight.

The weight of poverty bears down,

On those who struggle in this town.

But hope remains, a flickering flame,

A chance for change, a brighter aim.

For though the road is long and tough,

The human spirit's strong enough.

To rise above, to overcome,

And build a future for everyone.
