A hero



 Max was an ordinary teenager who loved video games and comics. He always dreamed of having superpowers and saving the world from evil. One day, he found a mysterious device in his basement that looked like a wristwatch. He put it on and pressed a button. Suddenly, he felt a surge of energy and saw a hologram of a man appear in front of him.


 "Greetings, Max. I am Zee, your personal assistant. This device is called the Zee-Zee, and it grants you access to a variety of superpowers. You can choose any power you want from the menu and activate it by saying 'Zee-Zee'. However, you must use your powers wisely and responsibly, as there are consequences for abusing them. You are the chosen one, Max. The fate of the world depends on you."


 Max was stunned and excited. He couldn't believe his luck. He decided to test out his new powers and see what he could do. He scrolled through the menu and saw options like flight, invisibility, telekinesis, super strength, super speed, and more. He chose flight and said "Zee-Zee". He felt himself levitating off the ground and soaring into the sky. He laughed with joy and flew around the city, feeling free and powerful.


 He soon realized that he was not alone in the sky. He saw a group of flying robots that looked like giant insects. They were shooting lasers at buildings and people, causing chaos and destruction. Max recognized them as the minions of Dr. Doom, a notorious villain who wanted to take over the world. Max knew he had to stop them. He switched to super strength and flew towards them. He punched and kicked them with ease, smashing them to pieces. He felt like a hero.


 However, he also attracted the attention of Dr. Doom himself, who was watching from his secret lair. He saw Max on his monitor and recognized the Zee-Zee device on his wrist. He realized that Max had found his prototype that he had lost years ago. He was furious and decided to get it back. He activated his own Zee-Zee device and flew out of his lair. He confronted Max in the air and said "Give me back my Zee-Zee device, you little brat! It belongs to me!"


 Max refused and said "No way! You're evil and you don't deserve it! I'm going to use it to stop you and save the world!" They engaged in a fierce battle, using different powers against each other. They exchanged blows, blasts, beams, bolts, and booms. They dodged, ducked, dipped, dived, and dodged again. They fought with all their might, but neither could gain the upper hand.


 The battle lasted for hours, until they both ran out of energy and fell to the ground. They lay there exhausted and bruised, staring at each other with hatred and respect. They realized that they were evenly matched and that they had to end this somehow. They both reached for their Zee-Zee devices and pressed a button at the same time. They activated the ultimate power: self-destruction.


 A countdown started on their devices: 10...9...8...7...6...5...4...3...2...1...BOOM! A huge explosion rocked the city, creating a mushroom cloud that could be seen for miles. The shockwave shattered windows and knocked down walls. The fireball incinerated everything in its path. The blast radius covered several blocks and left nothing but ashes and rubble.


 Max and Dr. Doom were gone. Their Zee-Zee devices were destroyed along with them. The world was safe from their threat, but at a terrible cost. The people mourned their loss and wondered what had happened. They remembered Max as a hero who sacrificed himself to save them from Dr. Doom's tyranny. They erected a statue in his honor and named a park after him.

Working with someone pretender to like you

Is like wearing a mask that doesn't fit

You smile and nod and act polite

But inside you feel like a hypocrite


You wonder what they really think of you

And what they say behind your back

You try to ignore the subtle clues

But you can sense the trust they lack


You wish you could be honest and sincere

And tell them how you really feel

But you know that would only cause more fear

And make the situation more unreal


So you keep playing the game of lies

And hope that one day it will end

But until then you have to compromise

And work with someone who's not your friend


Pretender

She smiles and laughs as if nothing is wrong

She acts like she's happy and confident and strong

But inside she's broken and lonely and sad

She hides all her feelings and thoughts that are bad


She pretends that she doesn't care what they say

She pretends that she doesn't mind being alone every day

She pretends that she doesn't need anyone's love or support

She pretends that she doesn't have any dreams to abort


But sometimes she wonders how long she can keep up the lie

How long she can fake it before she breaks down and cries

How long she can ignore the pain that's eating her alive

How long she can pretend before she gives up and dies


A mother's love

He sits on the sidewalk, clutching a cardboard sign

His clothes are torn and dirty, his face is lined with grime

He looks at the passing strangers, hoping for a dime

But all he gets are glares and sneers, as if he's committed a crime


He remembers his mother, how she loved him so

How she taught him right from wrong, how she helped him grow

But he betrayed her trust and kindness, he chose a different path

He fell into addiction and violence, he faced his father's wrath


He wishes he could see her, to hug her one last time

To tell her that he's sorry, to beg for her sublime

But he knows it's too late, she's gone and he's alone

He cries out for his mother, but all he hears is a groan


Pretender

She smiles and nods and says she's fine

But deep inside she feels a twinge of pain

She acts as if she has it all together

But every night she cries herself to sleep


She pretends to love her job and friends

But secretly she longs for something more

She acts as if she's happy and fulfilled

But every day she feels a void inside


She pretends to be confident and strong

But really she's insecure and scared

She acts as if she's brave and bold

But every time she faces a challenge she doubts herself


She pretends to be someone she's not

But who is she really and what does she want?

She acts as if she knows herself well

But every moment she wonders who she is


A cat swinging on a branch

With grace and skill and nonchalance

He leaps and lands on his four paws

And then he licks them with his jaws


He does not care about the height

Or if he gives the birds a fright

He only wants to have some fun

And feel the breeze and see the sun


He swings again and then he stops

And looks around for any props

He sees a squirrel on a tree

And thinks that it would make a good company


He jumps and chases after it

But the squirrel is too fast and fit

He misses it by just a bit

And falls into a pile of leaves


He shakes himself and then he smiles

He does not mind his little trials

He swings and jumps and plays all day

He is a cat and that's his way
